The Future of Hampton Roads, Inc. (FHR) is an organization committed to fostering collaboration, innovation, and appreciation within the Hampton Roads, Virginia region. Established in 1982 by a passionate group of community leaders, we believe in the power of unity and the potential of our localities to flourish together to make Hampton Roads an outstanding place to be.

Our Mission

Future of Hampton Roads, Inc. (FHR) advocates for regionalism by encouraging Greater Hampton Roads to become an innovative, non-partisan union that collectively possesses the power needed to more effectively represent the residents of the entire region on issues of common interest and benefit.
